Pseudoscience and the paranormal (bigfoot, UFOs, psychics, communication with the dead, cryptozoology, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>2. Alternative medicine (faith healing, homeopathy, belief in \u00e2\u20ac\u0153healing touch,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the efficacy of prayer, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>3. Religion and secularism (church-state separation, the effects and proper role of religion in society, the future of secularism and nonbelief, etc.)\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interestingly enough, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pointofinquiry.org\/?p=31\">their most recent podcast<\/a> includes an excellent interview with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.maxmaven.com\/\">Max Maven<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>From the listing:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In this interview, Max Maven begins an exploration of the relationship between magic and skepticism, and how magicians may aid the skeptical enterprise.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The entire interview segment is about 19 minutes in length and, I think, well worth your time to download and listen.
